Solar installations must be located on lots of at least five acres and set back 100 feet from all lot lines. A 6-foot security fence is required, surrounded by a 50-foot landscaped buffer designed to fully obstruct views from roads or nearby residential properties. Solar arrays are limited to a maximum height of 15 feet. Decommissioning plans are required, the plan must include panel specifications, removal provisions, landowner agreements, cost estimates, responsible party identification, and re-seeding of disturbed earth. A financial guarantee equal to the estimated removal cost is also required.
